Mike and Cara Bettig
Mike Bettig is co-Lead Pastor grew up in Southwest Michigan and graduated from Moody Bible Institute. He has a Master's in New Testament Theology from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. He has served Sawyer Highlands Church and Converge Community Church for 18 years. He is happily married to Cara Bettig, and they have five children; Aiden, Grace, Evy, Violet, and Miki. Mike enjoys spending time with his family, reading about history, running, and going to the beach.
Rob and Katie Nash
Rob is co-Lead Pastor and grew up in Minnesota and went to school at Wheaton College. He received his Master of Divinity degree at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. In recent years, he has authored several articles and two books: Last Words: Seven Sayings From the Heart of Christ on the Cross and Words of the Resurrected: Meditations for Easter and Beyond.
Rob is married with six kids and enjoys reading, running, travel, and coaching baseball and soccer.
Joe and Kella Koehler
Joe, our Youth Pastor, has Michigan in his blood, having been born and raised in Berrien county. He graduated from Cornerstone University in 2016 with his BA, and soon after spent a year teaching 5th and 6th grade students in a Christian school in Benton Harbor, MI. His passion to see youth know and savor Jesus Christ next led him to care for and minister to the youth at this church, a church he has long attended. He is married to Kella, and together they have adopted multiple foster children out of a desire to extend the love of Jesus to those that cannot help themselves.
Joe enjoys most every sport, but especially hockey and tennis. He is always looking for books to read (especially Christian biography!), opportunities to take students out for a Coca-Cola, spending time with Kella, going on walks, or working on house projects!
